Follow the link below to hear an interview featuring Toledo Opera Executive Director Suzanne Rorick and myself. After the interview, hear me perform Mercutio’s Act 1 aria, “Mab, la reine des mensonges” (The Ballad of Queen Mab). In this aria, Mercutio and the other Montagues, having just snuck into the Capulet ball, taunt their friend Romeo for his misfortunate romance with Rosaline.

“The Toledo Opera on Wheels transported students to a musical, operatic fairytale world with their "Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf" performance at Perkins High School. The production reimagined the classic tale using Mozart's music from Don Giovanni, featuring the Three Little Pigs, the Boy Who Cried Wolf, and the Big Bad Wolf.
In a heartwarming twist, they collaborate to solve their problems, delivering valuable lessons.
The performance captivated Meadowlawn and Furry School students, who were treated to exceptional artistry by Evan Fleming, Sara Mortensen, Imara Miles, and Jon Suek, with pianist Steven Naylor.”
